Bandit
Well, We made it to Friday- TGIF!!! I live for the weekends. I am not an early morning person and I really don't like getting up before the break of dawn every day--I think that's one of the reasons that I love the weekends so much.
We had another bandit in our garden this morning--caught in the live trap. These little critters love watermelon and cantaloupe. The one that we caught this morning looked like the one pictured above. We caught the one pictured last summer. We don't hurt them, we relocate them to areas where they should thrive--next to lakes and away from traffic.
I think that it's going to be another one of those summers. Hot and dry. Our garden isn't doing so well because of the heat and drought. I am going to try to make bread and butter pickles this weekend--I have a bucket full of cucumbers that I need to use before they go bad.
I have several projects in the works. Two Steam punks and another salvage piece. Maybe I can get a good start on them this weekend. Sometimes I feel like my creative well has just dried up. Other times I am flooded with ideas. Guess that's why I like to carry my sketch pad, when the ideas come to me, I can write them down. Then in "dry" periods, I can look through my journal for ideas. It has been a savior at times.
Hope that you all have a great weekend.
F.
