I wanted to add a picture of this flower. It is called a "Confederate Rose". When it is new it has a beautiful creamy white color............
As the bud matures, it developes a lovely pink hue......Really very interesting if you think about it. It metamorpasizes, transforms and then withers away. Kinda like people. As we age, we change, develop and then, we too wither and die. But the in-between time is full of color and glorious.
This is Savannah--My original girl. She was my first horse. I bought her when she was 6 mos. old. She has turned into my beautiful Savanah-anna, Sassafras and princess Savanannah. She is full of spunk and attitude and only wants things her way--typical female :).
I have been working at the warehouse cleaning out boxes of assorted paperwork, trying to get rid of and file the endless stream of paperwork required on a job. I found this little guy in one of the boxes.
My oldest brother made it down last weekend--we had a wonderful time. We went out on the lake fishing. This was our view at sunset........
The following day we went fishing at the river. We didn't catch anything but had a great time doing it. The entire weekend turned out to be an adventure for all of us.
This is my booth at the final show of the year (thank goodness!!!). It was in Natchitoches, La. It was a good show. I am so relieved that they are over for the year. I have so much to catch up on around the house and for the holidays. It is a welcome relief.
Your posts are always full of wonderful images and ideas. Thanks for sharing.
