I live in La, work full time and dabble in art when ever I can. I would love to be able to do my art full time--who knows, maybe one day I will. In the past year, I started doing Festivals, trying to sell my Art. It is A LOT of work, but worth it. I have met so many people with the same interests as myself.

December Giveaway

We Finally made it to the weekend--TGIf!!!!! Time to post my next free giveaway item.  For the month of Dec. the free drawing will be for my bleeding hibiscus.  It is an 8" x 10" print mounted on canvas. The drawing will be held on Dec. 24, 2011 and will be determined by the random number generator.  All you have to do to be eligible for this drawing is to go to my art web site--that is different from this blog- follow this link Venus Blues Art Hideaway .  Go to the "Monthly Giveaway" tab at the top of the page and leave a comment.  That's it! Remember-you have to re-register every month (leave a comment), your name doesn't carry over from month to month.

I have to get ready for another show this weekend--it is a night show, that will be my first one of those.  It will be at Oil City, La.  It starts at either 4 or 5 p.m.  There will be a fireworks show and vendors.
