About Me

My photo
I live in La, work full time and dabble in art when ever I can. I would love to be able to do my art full time--who knows, maybe one day I will. In the past year, I started doing Festivals, trying to sell my Art. It is A LOT of work, but worth it. I have met so many people with the same interests as myself.

Abstract Thoughts and Moses

These are photos of the an abstract that I finished last weekend. I am on an abstract kick right now. I just love playing with the texture and color. I love bright colors and try to use as many as I can find!! I had an extremely busy weekend but got alot done for the upcoming show. I still have to get the camper out and pack up the art but I did get all of the pieces finished.

Here is the latest picture of Moses. For those of you who don't know--I found Moses several weeks ago on the job. His eyes weren't open yet and he had to be bottle fed. Guess he will just stay with me for awhile. I hate to think of his fate if I turn him out. What do you think--Free him or keep him??

There are so many owls and hawks and cats and then you have the mouse poison. He is not afraid of people either. What a quandary.

Would love to know your opinions.

Have a great day.

Faye

  1. Hi Faye,

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your follow. I stopped here a couple of times and I just love your delicious art creations.
I am a big fan of Moses he is so darn cute! I just know that he fits right in with your menagerie of critters. You are a very kind and loving person. I would love to hear more of his daily routine. He should help you in your art studio, I have a feeling that he is very creative!
I have 3 cats and 2 dogs, all are rescues. I would love to have more but my allergies (and my hubbyman) tell me that this is enough.
    Have a very creative day!

  2. Hello Kim,

Thanks so much for dropping by my blog and for following me. Thanks you for your kind words on my art--I appreciate that! Moses and Me are still hanging out together. I bring him to work with me every day!! He comes with me to the office--I try to hold him of and on all day so that he doesn't become afraid. When we go home he sits on the front porch until we go in for the evening. He is so cute. He is now weaned and eating on his own. He has been for about 2 weeks. I know what you mean about the animals. I have so many strays and rescues but I love them, every one!! My hubby says pretty much the same-Enough! But, he loves them to.

  3. Hi Faye, your painting is beautiful. I love the colors, these are the colors I have on my walls, they go with my large Van Gogh painting, "Cafe de Nuit". As for Moses...poor little fella, he is cute but there's that little problem of him multiplying.

Thanks for coming by my blog and following. I'm following your blog as well, I love your art.

  4. Thanks so much for stopping by Maria. And, Thank you for the kind words about my art--I am a color freak--the brighter the better is my motto. Moses is going to stay with me--be my little friend. I thought about letting him go, but decided the world was too cruel for him. He comes to work with me every day and I take him out and hold him regularly so that his instincts of being afraid doesn't "kick in". He has been a joy--who would've thunk it!! Being a mouse and all--but all of God's creatures are great.
